Abstract At present, the governance of atmospheric air smog is China's urgent task. PM2.5 is the main cause of air smog. The concept of PM2.5 was introduced, the present situation of air pollution in China was analyzed, and the purification effect of evaporative cooling technology on air was studied. It is put forword that the evaporative cooling technology is a kind of environmental protection and energy saving refrigeration technology, it is the best way to govern air smog, and has a broad application prospect.
