Abstract Linezolid was used as the lead compound, based on the structure-activity relationship of analysis of oxazolidinone compounds, a new compound named ( S )-N-{3-[3-fluoro-4-(2-methylthiazole-4-yl )phenyl]-2-oxo-5-oxazolidin} methylacetamide was synthesized, which has not published in any literature. And its structure has been validated by NMR and mass spectrum. The study is based on the synthesis method of (S )-N-{3-[3-fluoro-4-(2-methylthiazole-4-yl)phenyl]-2-oxo-5-oxazolidin}methylacetamide, which laid the foundation for the study of its pharmaceutical activities.
