Abstract In view of the problems of large goaf water, low water discharge efficiency and poor drilling accuracy in the mine field of Baozigou Coal Industry Co., Ltd., the research and application of directional drilling technology in the accurate detection and discharge of long-distance goaf water in the underground were carried out by taking No.10119 transport roadway working face of the mine as the research object. The results showed that the directional drilling technology could effectively realize the detection and drainage of long-distance goaf water, improved the accuracy and efficiency of water detection and drainage, effectively avoid missed detection and false detection, reduce the probability of goaf water outburst and construction cost, and provide a reference construction method for similar mines.
