Abstract In order to effectively deal with the problem of insufficient drainage capacity in coal mine old goaf water outburst accidents, this study took the ' 7.6 ' water outburst accident of Lijialou Coal Industry as the case, and used the formula of water accumulation in low-lying points of roadway and time parameters to quickly estimate the water inflow, and combined the idea of cross-regional coordination to optimize the drainage scheme. By analyzing the characteristics of the accident water source, an emergency drainage strategy based on dynamic prediction and multi-level coordination was proposed, including adding water pumps, optimizing pipeline layout and directional drilling drainage technology. The results showed that the total actual drainage capacity of the optimized mine was increased from the lowest 310 m3/h to more than 536 m3/h, and the total drainage volume during the rescue period was about 54 735 m3. The permeable water level was successfully controlled and the controllable state of the accident area was restored. The research verified the role of rapid estimation of water inflow in emergency decision-making, and showed the effectiveness of collaborative drainage mode for permeable rescue under complex geological conditions, which provided a technical path for similar mine water disaster prevention and control.
