Abstract Aiming at the problem of bump damage often occurring in the use of mobile video equipment of mine endless rope tractor, a multi-functional mobile video installation platform with anti-smashing and anti-falling, adjustable height and convenient disassembly and assembly is designed. The platform includes telescopic fixed brackets, portable mobile power boxes, wireless camera adjustable brackets, and high-strength protective plates. Through the three-dimensional modeling of each part of the structure, its functional principle is elaborated in detail ; the finite element simulation of the protective plate was carried out to verify its compressive capacity. The successful application of the mobile video installation platform in Dongpang Mine has solved the security protection problem of mobile video and achieved considerable economic benefits. At the same time, the design idea of the platform provides a reference for the smooth application of intelligent equipment in the endless rope tractor system.
