| Technology and experimental study of asymmetric reinforcement for the roadway under high-intensity mining influence |

Abstract The large deformation of roadway in No. 13405 and 13406 Faces of No.3 coal seam in Wantugou Mine was taken as the engineering background, the methods of field investigation and industrial test were comprehensively adopted. It was concluded that the disturbance of mining abutment pressure, the low strength of roadway surrounding rock, the low strength of roadway support and the poor quality of roadway support were the main influencing factors of deformation and failure of test roadway. Based on this, the idea of asymmetric reinforcement of roadway was put forward, and the asymmetric reinforcement technology of roadway under the influence of high-intensity mining was developed. The field industrial test was carried out to monitor the deformation of surrounding rock, the stress state of bolt and the stress distribution of coal pillar. The influence law and deformation and failure characteristics of the test roadway were analyzed. The results of mine pressure monitoring verified the rationality of reinforcement technology and support parameters.
