Abstract The application of rapid excavation technology in coal mine working face is the key to the rapid development of coal mine industry in China.In order to improve the efficiency of roadway excavation and solve the problems of difficult support in the current excavation work, based on the 23104 belt roadway excavation working face of Xiegou Coal Mine, the rapid excavation and support equipment were introduced to optimize the support scheme and upgrade the excavation equipment as the research content, and the roadway support density was appropriately reduced. Through the industrial test, the rapid excavation of the excavation working face was realized by continuously optimizing the rapid excavation equipment.
