Abstract The project collects raw coal from four major mining areas in Xingtai for industrial analysis and elemental analysis. The caking index, colloid layer index, calorific value of coal, determination of total sulfur in coal and determination of vitrinite reflectance of raw coal are determined. The four types of raw coal are bituminous coal, and the coal rank of raw coal is determined. According to GB/T 220-2018 " Determination method of chemical reactivity of coal to carbon dioxide, " the chemical reactivity of coal to CO2 was determined. The chemical reactivity of coal samples after retorting to CO2 at 800 ℃, 850 ℃, 900 ℃, 950 ℃, 1 000 ℃, 1 050 ℃ and 1 100 ℃ was studied by Ostwald gas analysis method. The relationship between the different metamorphi c degree of bituminous coal and the chemical reactivity of CO2 was compared and analyzed. It is of great significance to make rational use of coal resources and improve the utilization rate of coal.
