Abstract The track roadway in the south wing of the second level Chengjiao Mine is located in the sandy mudstone of the roof of the second 2 coal seam. After the roadway was formed, it was repaired 1 ~ 2 times a year, and the cost was high. Therefore, through field investigation, the deformation characteristics were summarized. Aiming at the cause of deformation, the control idea of strengthening the strength of surrounding rock and strengthening the key parts was put forward, and the mechanism of grouting reinforcement of surrounding rock was analyzed. Finally, the support mode of full-section high-strength bolt, floor anchor cable grouting and inverted arch was determined, and the full-section support scheme was designed. The field application had achieved good supporting effect.
