Abstract In order to solve the problem that the high concentration gas in the goaf of the working face of the high gas mine affects the normal and safe production of the mining face, taking Bofang Coal Mine as an example, the high drilling field is selected to be constructed in the return airway of the working face, and the gas in the goaf is drained to the ground through the high drilling hole. After scientific calculation, the optimum elevation angle of the drilling hole is 21 ° ~ 39 °, and the parameters such as the construction azimuth angle and the hole depth are determined. Through the analysis of the extraction data, the pure amount of high-level borehole extraction is maintained in the high-level interval of 10.4 ~ 15.9 m3/min, and the extraction effect is better and more remarkable.
