Abstract In view of the inconvenient installation and maintenance of Bluetooth beacons for video mine lights in Lvjiatuo Mine of Kailuan Group, the idea of applying video fast retrieval technology to mine personnel positioning system is proposed. The local area network time synchronization server is built through the Beidou satellite navigation signal, and the correlation between the underground trajectory information of the personnel and the video file of the miner 's lamp is constructed, and the horizontal fusion of the system is realized. In view of the instability of video file transmission and the inability to quickly view key information, the video is compressed in an intelligent way to generate new video with low redundancy. Then, the personnel positioning information is used to obtain the required data, and the video tag processing is used to control the video playback time point. The rapid retrieval of massive video is realized, which is of great significance to improve the intelligent level of coal mine safety management..
