Abstract In coal mine production, the efficiency of auxiliary transportation is very important for the efficiency of mining. Therefore, it is necessary to select the appropriate transportation equipment according to the specific situation of the coal mine. The slope of the track roadway in the No. 8106 Face of Huayang No.1 Coal Mine is more than 5° in some areas. In order to ensure the efficiency of transportation, the trackless rubber-tyred vehicle is used as the traction device in the area with a slope of less than 5°, and the column winch is used as the traction device in the area with a slope of more than 5°. After analysis and calculation, WCJ5E (A), WCJ8E (A) trackless rubber-tyred vehicle and JSDB-16 (37kW) column winch are selected as auxiliary traction devices. The practice shows that the selected trackless rubber-tyred vehicle and the return column winch can meet the requirements of use, ensure the safe and efficient production of coal mines, and provide some reference for the selection of auxiliary transportation equipment in coal mines under similar conditions.
