Abstract Gas sensor is the core monitoring equipment of the monitoring system. In order to promote the development of gas sensor technology, this paper summarizes the four types of gas sensors that are more common on the market at present, and the different types of fault signals generated by the sensors in the mine. It is pointed out that the future gas sensor will be composed of new materials with high sensitivity, corrosion resistance and long service life, and combined with modern Internet communication technology to finally realize intelligent management of mine gas.
