Abstract In order to solve the problem of CO concentration exceeding the limit in the return air corner of 3101 fully mechanized mining face in Longyan Coal Mine, the clay grouting method is used to block the fissure channel between the upper and lower goafs through the ground drilling, so as to reduce the air leakage between the upper and lower goafs. The treatment method of equal pressure ventilation in the working face to suppress the CO emission in the goaf is used to control the CO concentration in the return air corner of 3101 fully mechanized mining face not to exceed the limit, which ensures the normal mining of 3101 fully mechanized mining face and achieves the effect of maintaining the safe production of coal mine.
