Abstract In order to study the law of mining subsidence of railway special line in Qianjiaying mining area of Kailuan, this paper drew the subsidence curve of railway special line by establishing No.2097W inclined surface movement observation station in the tenth mining area, and comprehensively analyzed the law of railway movement and deformation. The results showed that the tendency of No.2097W Face was not fully mined, which belonged to the repeated mining of deep multi-coal seams. The active stage of railway subsidence lasted for 163 days, accounting for 80.3% of the total subsidence. The maximum subsidence coefficient was 0.56, the maximum subsidence speed was 12.12 mm/d, the lag angle of the maximum subsidence speed of the railway was 73°32′40″, the influence angle of subsidence advance was 71°54′ 3″, and the maximum subsidence value of the railway was 1285 mm. Finally, the subsidence curve equation was fitted by using the Curve Fitting Tool of matlab. It provided a reference for the subsidence control of the railway special line in the mining area, ensured the safety and production of the mining area, and provided a scientific basis for the future 'three under' mining.
