Abstract In view of the spontaneous combustion characteristics of No.8 and No.13 coal seams in Xiegou Coal Mine, this paper designs and puts forward the detection scheme of spontaneous combustion area, which can predict and predict the change of spontaneous combustion process of the ignition point in time. By adopting fire prevention and extinguishing measures such as pouring inhibitor, nitrogen injection and mobile yellow mud grouting, the spontaneous combustion of coal in goaf is effectively prevented and controlled, and the expected safety production goal is realized, which provides scientific basis for the prevention and control of spontaneous combustion fire accidents in coal mines.
