Abstract In view of the fact that there are many geological structures such as faults, collapse columns, synclines and anticlines in the field of Sitai Coal Mine, which lead to large changes in coal seam dip angle and coal seam thickness, a complete set of fully mechanized mining equipment in continuous fluctuating coal seam is determined through comparative analysis of resource recovery rate, gangue mixing ratio and mining difficulty. The equipment has strong adaptability in the use process, overcomes various geological structures, and provides reference for the selection of fully mechanized mining equipment in mines with similar geological conditions.
