| Safety evaluation of mining under pressure of Ordovician limestone in Wangjialing Mine |

Abstract In order to evaluate the safety of mining under pressure in No. 2 Coal Seam of Wangjialing Mine, based on the analysis of the water yield characteristics of Ordovician limestone aquifer, the water blocking capacity of floor water resisting layer of No. 2 Coal Seam and the depth of disturbance and failure zone of floor, the water inrush coefficient method was used to evaluate the mining under pressure in No. 2 Coal Seam. Through analysis and research, the Ordovician limestone water inrush coefficient of No. 2 Coal Seam in the mine field was 0.010 ~ 0.048 MPa/m, which was less than the critical water inrush coefficient of the structural damage zone of the coal seam floor of 0.06 MPa/m. The normal section belonged to the non water inrush risk area, the structural section belonged to the water inrush threat area, and there was no water inrush risk area.
