Abstract Because the micro morphology of inorganic nanofiber material has the characteristics of small diameter, large length-diameter and large specific surface area, it has special properties that other materials do not have in terms of thermodynamic, electromagnetic and mechanical characteristics. Based on the research status of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate and barium sulfate in China, the preparation and application of these inorganic materials nano-fiber type in China were introduced. The results show that the study of nano-fiber calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate was relatively mature, and filling in rubber and plastic materials, the mechanical properties such as impact strength, bending strength and elongation at break can be significantly improved. The study of nano-fiber barium sulfate is only in the preparation stage, and its industrial application needs further research.
