Yangquan Coal Industry No. 5 mine located about 7 km southwest of Pingding County, Yangquan City, Shanxi Province, the mining field is located in the north of Qinshui mining field in Shanxi Province, with field area 82.534 1 km2, now mainly mining No. 15 coal seam. According to the overall articulation planning of the mine, the existing gas extraction system cannot meet the requirements and needs to be modified. After technical and economic comparison, the existing gas pumping station of Guishigou shaft was used for renovation, and the renovated gas extraction system ensured the safe mining.
