Abstract In order to further study the deformation characteristics of roadway displacement and support effect under different surrounding rock environments, the calculation method of Hawk-Brown strength criterion was used to theoretically derive the law of roadway displacement and deformation, and the calculation formula of elastic-plastic displacement of circular roadway was derived, and the influencing factors affecting the loose deformation of the surrounding rock of the roadway were clarified. Through phase 2 numerical simulation, the deformation characteristics of the roadway displacement under different surround rock environment conditions were compared and analyzed, under certain parameters, the displacement and deformation of roadway is proportional to the buried depth, while was inversely proportional to uniaxial compressive strength, m value and s value, the influence degree of each factor on the deformation of roadway surrounding rock was summarized, the surrounding rock support was optimized, which provided reference for roadway stability and support.
