Abstract With the increase of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emissions, the problem of atmospheric environmental pollution is becoming increasingly serious. Therefore, the state has brought volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the national regulatory scope. In this paper, a cryogenic condensation recovery device for VOCs is designed and installed in the product tank farm of an ethylene glycol plant. The design process is described in detail from the process design and safety assurance measures The content of non methane total hydrocarbon in tail gas is less than 80mg / m3, conversion rate is more than 97%, methanol content is less than 50mg / m3, ethylene glycol content is less than 50mg / m3, in line with national standards, this design can not only recover a large number of products, increase income, but also improve the quality of air environment gas, and actively respond to national policies.
