In view of the support problems existing in the roadway excavation process of the soft coal seam, with the engineering background of Xinxing Mine 2265 working face, the maintenance characteristics of the soft coal seam workface shunting groove was analyzed, and the use of timely support, step-type excavation technical means, combined with "anchor + metal net + anchor cable" joint control technology was settled. Practice showed that the working face orbit shun groove sheet gang caused by the peak accident reduction, the roadway surrounding rock deformation control within a reasonable range, the technology achieved the purpose of support, with reference significance.
