Abstract In order to improve the driving speed of coal roadway with large section in three soft coal seams, aiming at the problems in the equipment configuration and support technology of the fast driving operation line of the coal roadway in the three soft coal seams, 111307 working face of Kouzidong Mine was taken as example, the influencing factors of fast driving of coal roadway integrated excavation face and failure characteristics of soft rock roadway were analyzed, the effects of mining, supporting and transporting to fast driving were studied and optimized. The results showed that the monthly single-entry level of the roadway was increased by 45%, which achieved a new breakthrough in the construction and support technology of rapid mining in three soft coal seam.
