Abstract Based on the fact that most dust suppressants on the market currently with a single, toxic and corrosive effect, and causing secondary pollution to the environment, this research was an environmentally friendly type independently developed by Changzhi Jingfang Coal Industry Co., Ltd. In line with the dust suppressant, it could effectively solve the shortcomings and limitations of the current dust suppressant. The research used solution polymerization to develop dust suppression materials in coal mine underground roadways and belt conveyors. The results showed that cross-linking reaction between products was confirmed by infrared spectroscopy; the contact angle was 31.1 ° at a concentration of 0.09%; the dust suppression rate was about 88% at a wind speed of 15m / s; the BOD5 / CODCr value was greater than 0.45, and the suppression dust agents are easily degradable materials. The material could play a positive role in reducing dust pollution and protecting the environment.
