Abstract In order to improve design and operation stability of desulfuriration(WFGD) absorber which is the key equipment of wet flue gas WFGD, the design of flue gas entrance which is the largest opening of absorber was discussed. The force conditions of flue gas entrance itself and the whole absorber were analyzed. The reinforcement methods were listed through analyzing the special operating conditions of the flue gas entrance. The anti scale measures and anticorrosion schemes, and operational considerations were put forward after analysis, which provides a reference for similar projects.
