In order to analyze characteristics of fault and collapse column in 3d seismic data, the application of high resolution seismic exploration method in seismic exploration of mining area was studied, the plane distribution of fault and collapse column which affected mining in this area was well explained, and the flexural form and distribution law of this area were pointed out. Through the analysis of the application effect of high resolution seismic exploration technology in the exploration of the southern mining area of Xingyu Mine, it was pointed out that high resolution seismic exploration was one of the effective technical means to explore the hidden structures in this area.
