Abstract The mine in north China is mainly threatened by the Ordovician limestone water. Xingdong Mine, located in north China, was affected by the occurrence conditions of its coal seam, seriously restricted by the high-pressure-bearing water of Ordovician limestone water while mining. In order to effectively prevent Ordovician water inrush in Xingdong mine, the water inrush mechanism was studied on the water inrush mechanism on the floor of 2127 working face, 2222 and the floor of No.15 hole of -980 central transportation material roadway.
