Cefoxitin sodium is obtained through the reaction and crystallization of cefoxitin acid and salt agent. The color stability of cefoxitin sodium was improved, through absorbing the impurities in cefoxitin acid to reduce the impurities in cefoxitin sodium. The results show that the experimental obtained cefoxitin sodium has low impurity content and good color stability, and the yield is above 92%.
