Abstract Wangcun Mine, as high gas mine, the maximum gas emission amount was 10.34 m3/min in fully mechanized working face, the pre-drainage, upper corner buried pipe drainage, high inclined drilling and smoke exhausting fan siding with L windbreak setting, but without good effect, gas content in upper corner exceeds 0.8%, the main gas got from goaf, the corresponding measure of gas control was put forward. The result showed that the gas content remained 0.01% ~ 0.2%, with good effect of gas control.
