Abstract For laboratory hydrogen sulfide detection, there are two test systems, domestic hydrogen sulfide test instrument and American Agilent 7890A gas chromatograph FPD detector. In order to meet the needs of production, provide excellent inspection quality for the laboratories, establish a complete quality system and control system, the determination result consistency of the two sets of test system for hydrogen sulfide detection was compared. The hydrogen sulfide content in standard gas and sample were determind by the two instruments respectively, and the determination results were analyed and comparied. With one hydrogen sulfide standard gas as quality control material, with other samples gas ( containing only hydrogen sulfide and nitrogen components ) as tested samples, the test results of the two test systems were analyed and compared; with determination values of the former as the observed values, the latter as the expected value, the intercept and K value of the test values were determined by Agilent 7890A test system were obtained by statistical processing in order to correct the detection result of Agilent 7890A. The experimental results show that through comparing and adjusting of the determination results of the same sample by two instruments, the achieved results are highly consistent for determination of hydrogen sulfide, it can prove the experimental ability, realize the standardization of the laboratory and meet the needs of production.
