Based on restrictions of observation accuracy and heterogeneous geological body of small collapse column, surface 3D seismic always had leakage or large positioning error, which affected safety mining.Transmission experiment was made in 090606 working face of Duanwang Mine to pick up 1344 airy phases thruogh dispersion analysis. Meanwhile, the velocity and absorption coefficient tomography inversion calculation were conducted to get wave group velocity in test area and absorption coefficient distribution, not only eliminated collapse column delineated by ground 3D seismic exploration, but also modified production project for high efficiency and safety production. 1 ~ 9 positioncollapse columns were verified by stoping, and deviation was less than 10 m.
