Forming mechanism of gravity gliding structure in the field and its effect on first section of the second coal seam were analyzed, which concluded that local thick coal seam was located at the front of the gravity gliding structure fault flat and it was also methane-rich zone, which provided guidance for mine geology working and gas outburst prevention.
