Abstract Based on stability and reliability of ventilated environment in deep well, application of FTA method was researched in ventilation system. Based on analysis of fault type existed in the system, fault tree was built and we can see that every bottom event was an potential factor to top event occurrence. Strengthening centralized monitoring and inspections were put forward, measures were taken to emerging issues on time and stability of this system was improved.
