Abstract In order to judge the danger of striking ground pressure, Baodian Mine was taken as example, the danger was evaluated by site observation, and the corresponding measures were given, influence by rock burst and thick and hard rock in roof,the mining face impact risk index is 0.52, impact pressure level is C, the impact risk distributes in the cut eye, connection of roadway, coal column and stopping line, the value of drilling cuttings weight less than 5L/m, basically without impact risk, with little rock burst, blast pressure-relief should be adopted until the risk removes.
