| Study on roadway surrounding rock control technology in high stressed soft rock downhill |

Abstract Due to the complex geological conditions of the mining area No. 22 of Quandian Mine and the great significance of its stability control, the deformation and failure characteristics of the surrounding rock of the roadway were analyzed. The deformation and failure mechanism of the surrounding rock in the roadway were revealed. Using theoretical analysis and field monitoring, the complications of the track downhill support of the heavily stressed soft rock were resolved. Grading yielding support technology and control measures in the roadway of the heavily stressed soft rock were put forward by changing the structure of the surrounding rock, achieving limited yielding, and reducing supporting costs. The control scheme in the process of the roadway was determined. The results showed that dangerous deformations of the surrounding rock in roadways of the heavily stressed soft rock could be effectively controlled by grading yielding support technology. The maximum displacement of the roof and floor in the process of the track downhill was 388 mm and the maximum displacement of the two sides was 285 mm, which ensured the safety and stability of the surrounding rock in the track dip.
