Abstract The disadvantages of physical mechanical properties of coal rock to surrounding rock control was analyzed based on No. 3 coal seam geological features of Yechuan Mining Industry, therefore, the mechanism of coal column strong concentrated stress in isolated island working face was analyzed, the stability of coal column depends on the appropriate width of Elastic stress nucleus after the plastic deformation failure. Distribution and evolution of stress field and displacement field, evolution law of coal column in isolated island were simulated by FLAC3D. The technology got good result in support parameters and monitoring information feedback treatment in 3102 isolated island of No. 3 coal seam in Yechuan Mining Industry.
