| Calculation of gas emission in process of No.8 coal and No.9 coal in Tunlan Mine |

Abstract No.8 coal in 99201 working face of Tunlan Mine was gas outburst danger area and No.9 coal was no outburst dangerous coal seam. In order to gas content of the 8 coal, gas drainage was performed in a high position during mining process. Gas content of 8 coal mining was calculated by using the method of sub source prediction so that safety of 8 coal mining could be analyzed. Its residual gas content was 4.52 ~ 6.06 m3 / t and reduced to non outburst zone after protective layer mining and gas drainage. The relative spacing was 56, protected layer was located in bending zone, only a few of 8 coal gas desorption could enter to working surface. Whereas, only a handful gas in 9 coals could enter to roof cracks on the basis of high drilling method and drilling mainly extracted gas in 8 coal.
