Abstract Based on geological condition of third yard coal burst area in lower segment pathway of Yanmazhuang Mine, drilling gas desorption index method was used to regional verifying and special safety technical measures of outburst prevention were formed through short pilot tunnels fast uncovering coal method, which achieved safe and rapid uncovering coal in working face.
