Abstract Force condition of shaft drainage was described and corresponding measures were put forward in this paper. At the same time, forms of prevent-bending device and force of prevent-bending beam were analyzed, together with proposing checking method of prevent-bending beam, which provided reference for design of prevent-bending device.
