Abstract With the continuous expansion of the capacity of the wind turbine, the length of wind blade is becoming longer and longer, the weight of wind blade increases accordingly. Thinking about the wind turbine bearing capacity, controlling the weight of wind blade is the problem need to be solved immediately. The main factors affecting the weight of wind turbine blade are the manufacturing procedure control and production process. The splicing gap of core material, overlap of glass cloth, infusion time of wind blade, coating method of painting etc. should be paid attention in the manufacturing process of the wind turbine blade. The weight of wind turbine blade can be reduced by RTM( resin transform moulding ).
