Based on the problem of f mine scraper conveyor electric motor burning loss, the comprehensive analysis was conducted from equipment matching, maintenance quality, underground operation, electrical mechanical failure and daily management of maintenance, specific measures and suggestions of preventing motor loss were put forward. The practice showed that these measures effectively prevented the motor loss and prolonged the service life of the motor.
