Mechanized mining of thin coal seam is going to be the development trend. Based on the problem of thin coal seam mechanized mining, based on very thin coal seam N1104 geological conditions, hydraulic support, mining machine, scraper conveyor that adapt to the coal seam were selected, its production capacity and size were conducted by checking calculation. The result showed that the selected main coal mining equipment size and production capacity could meet the needs of the working face. The selected main equipment improved the mechanization and production capacity.
