Based on the spirit and guidance of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, higher education development direction in China was analyzed, characteristics of knowledge economy era and the status of higher education were summarized, by analyzing 2010～2020 talent development program, innovation education mode and perfect employment mechanism  are in favour of innovative talents standing out, which would form good situation of support innovation, encourage innovation and rushed innovation.
