Abstract By understanding the controlling situation of occupational hazards of welders’ workplace in container manufacturing enterprises， the occupational hazards monitoring and assessment were made on 15 welder operating posts in a container manufacturing enterprise in Qingdao. The results show that the noises of welding workplace all exceed the national occupational standard; welding fume, manganese and its compounds, ozone, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide are all qualified. The occupational hazards of container welder operating posts in this company are serious.
