In order to get efficient and reasonable gas control technology to solve gas overrun in working face, observation station was set up to conduct statistic analysis of gas emission distribution law in working face. The result showed that working face gas concentration on the space distribution was not balanced; the gas concentration in upper corner increased with the rise of production, and was on the rise when operation increased, a sharp drop in the gas concentration in upper corner after the operation to a certain value; during the period of weighting, gas emission increased by more than 50%.
