In order to guarantee the normal mining of roadway，No.1 Mine of Yungaishan Mine was taken as example，through the comparison of water detection method，transient electromagnetic exploration was put forward to conduct advanced exploration in roadway，with the verification of drilling exploration and exposition of transient electromagnetic method. 21031 working face roadway used water detection through transient electromagnetic method，the detection result corresponded well to drilling exploration，which ensured the normal mining of the roadway.
