Abstract In order to fulfill the demands of gas liquefaction of small and mid-size mine coal seam gas and scattered coalbed methane in early ground extraction, skid mounted LNG liquefaction process directly liquefying gas was proposed. The three main gas Liquefaction technology in China was compared, single stage mixed refrigerant liquefaction process and with expander liquefaction processing were chosen as they are suitable for skid mounted LNG Liquefaction, and the solution of the two technology based on their disadvantages were given. The result showed that single stage mixed refrigerant liquefaction process was superior in the system running,the technology with strict equipment and refrigerant management is appropriate for skid mounted coal bed gas making LNG.
