Abstract During east 103 working face crossing fault drivage in Dashuitou Mine,there was a roof fall accident, accompanied by a lot of coal and gas emission. Through the analysis of the accident phenomenon, it was the normal dynamic phenomenon when crossing fault during mining, not dynamic phenomenon caused by outburst, and the corresponding prevention and control measures were put forward, which ensured rapid and safe mining of the working face.
