Abstract Based on the complex power system of coal mine power supply quality problems, the importance of current SVG static synchronous reactive compensation technology in coal mine power supply network was put forward, the working principle, topology structure and technical characteristics of SVG static synchronous reactive compensation were analyzed, which was of great significance for the modern production of mine power supply safety and reliability.
